Graphic Design class we were asked to recreate a book cover for "Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak and this is what I came up with, here's a step by step on how I did the whole thing. I wanted it to look like it was done with watercolour. I choose the Autumn colour swatch since everything around pretty much dies at that season and since what Max did in the illustration kind of fits the idea of it. Take note that there's nothing like this on the story I just thought it would be fun. Everything is drawn and painted on Photoshop.
